Boiler installation FAQs
How long does a boiler installation take?
- A straight combi swap in the same position is usually a one-day job. Moving the boiler, changing fuel type or converting from a conventional system to a combi normally takes two days, sometimes three if pipework needs rerouting through cupboards or a loft.
Which boiler should I choose?
- It depends on your water pressure, number of bathrooms and how your household uses hot water. We survey the property first, then recommend a sensible option from Worcester Bosch, Ideal, Vaillant or Baxi rather than pushing the most expensive unit on the list.
Do you register the warranty for me?
- Yes. We register the manufacturer warranty and notify Building Regulations, then send you the certificate and paperwork by email so everything is in one place if you sell the house.
Will my radiators and pipework need changing too?
- Not usually. We power flush or chemically clean the system, fit a magnetic filter and only recommend new pipework or radiators where the existing setup genuinely cannot support the new boiler.
